Overview
Ankerstone Mod began as I was, yet again, starting a new java minecraft world. I was setting up a small iron farm in a tower and decided I wanted to use an enderpearl chunk loader, as the tower fit nicely into one chunk. Having a pearl bouncing all the time hit me wrong in the moment and I decided to research making a single block that could act exactly like a pearl loader or a Nether portal loader (for one side only) when restone power was applied. This has resulted in the Ankerstone mod and has expanded beyond my initial goals. I am adding vanilla friendly lore and two block families to support the idea of the Ankerstone in game and am continuing to refine the concept.
Current Status
- The project is currently under active development.
- Mod loads and Ankerstone block functions and particle effects have been added.
- Stillstone and Reenforced Stillstone block familes have been added.
Development
The mod is being developed with Codex assisting with code creation, troubleshooting, and project organization. I have given it express instructions to act as an instructor as it guides me through the development. It has been generating code but only at my instruction and I review and have it help me understand as I go.
